Last night Robert and I had the pleasure of attending the 2007-2008 Carle Place Scholarship / Awards Ceremony at Carle Place High School. The 4th winner of the annual Viglow (Viglione-Sklow) Scholarship for $1,000.00 was SARA EMILY VILLAVERDE. Sara showed great drive and determination in her personal statement and essay, along with an impressive resume of academic achievement to make her this year’s winner.
We want to thank all of you who entered this years competition – the decision was as difficult as ever. We wish you the best of luck as you finish your senior year and move on to your next steps in life.
To the current Junior class of Carle Place High School – we look forward to interacting with you in the coming months as we launch the 2008-2009 Viglow Scholarship. We will be releasing a revamped application process for the scholarship and encourage participation from all.
